Unlike the D100, the DN7000T does not have a USB port, as it includes directly inside the modem 3G, in contrast has a RJ11 port to connect an analog phone, so you can use the 3G connection to make calls from a fixed line. The DN7000T was proposed by TIM to 229 €.

The Mobile Internet Device is now available for purchase. The gadget features high-resolution touchscreen display, a built-in 3.5G and Wi-Fi connectivity, and an embedded VoIP functionality. It can be used as a digital photo frame, enabling your friends and relatives to share your photos and pleasant memories. In addition, the BenQ MID S6 is the first MID equipped with built-in Windows XP Home Edition and embedded VoIP in Taiwan.

Although the N-06A has a custom operating system, Atheros is keen to note that the AR6002 already has drivers for Android and other Linux-based operating systems, Windows CE and Windows Mobile.

It is the fastest wireless data projector on the market and has enough bandwidth to play videos, not just slideshows, over the network connection. The projector’s 0.74-inch 3LCD panel can throw up images as large as 100 inches from 8.2 to 13 feet away. The lens has a 1.6x optical zoom ratio. There is a built-in 1W speaker, and the LP-WXU700 weighs less than 8lbs. The LP-WXU700 is the equivalent of $6,430.

The networking gear supports UPnP for media sharing on the local link and has four 100Mbps Ethernet jacks for wired devices. It can be administrated over a web browser instead of proprietary software. SMC doesn’t provide the pricing or specific launch dates for the gateway but says the hardware will be available primarily through cable providers.

PHS300 is a portable battery powered router that users can plug into an active USB data modem to receive Wi-Fi capabilities. The device offers support for multiple VPN pass-through sessions. Encryption is handled through standard WEP, WPA, and WPA2. The PHS300 is already available and priced at about $180.

Imation also introduced two new families of Solid State Drives (SSD) along with an SSD upgrade kit that lets users upgrade their hard disks to SSDs. The new M-Class SSD drives are designed to fit 2.5-inch drive bays, while the S-Class SSD drives sport a 3.5-inch form factor. Capacities range from 32GB to 128GB. In addition, Imation provides M-Class and S-Class Upgrade Kits that include everything users need to transfer over their files and operating system from a hard disk drive onto the new SSDs. The Upgrade Kit includes an Imation M-Class or S-Class SSD, a USB-to-SATA or SATA connector cable, power cable, Acronis True Image HD software and instructions.

S-Class drives feature enterprise-class performance and energy efficiency, with faster write speeds than the M-Class SSDs, at 120MBps versus 90MBps, and much faster Input Output Per Second (IOPS) performance, specifically when sequentially writing data to the drive.

The Imation M-Class SSD products will begin shipping in February, with prices starting at $180 for a 2.5-inch, 32GB drive with a SATA interface. Both the S-Class SSDs and the Upgrade Kit for either drive will ship in March, with pricing yet to be announced.

It shifts attention to convenience over speed through the unique addition of a 3.2-inch LCD to its front face. Although the number of non-WAN Ethernet ports isn’t mentioned, two USB ports allow the 685 to hold both a printer and an external drive simultaneously. D-Link declines to mention a launch date or price for the router.
