Archos has unveiled a new device for home entertainment, easily transportable in the holiday, the new Arnova Internet Radio and TV hub. The device designed appreciable, is equipped with two 2-watt speaker and a 3.5 inch TFT display with a resolution of 320 x 240P, in order to view over 1,500 web tv and listen to over 12,000 web radio.

Thanks also to the presence of 2 GB of internal memory and an SD reader, Arnova the hub is able to read audio files MP3, WAV, AAC and FLAC, and video files AVI, MP4 and FLV. The Arnova Internet Radio and TV hub is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity and can operate as an alarm. The wireless operation is also guaranteed it from you by 4 AA batteries. Prices and availability of the new Archos have not yet been disclosed.

The level of dynamic contrast of 8000 000:1, refresh pictures – 240 Hz, resolution – 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD). The thickness of the shell TV does not exceed 29 mm.

Sony, Google and Intel have made great strides in implementing the new project of Intel based Google TV. The three companies will present new products in the conference in San Francisco on 19 and 20 May 2010.

The televisions will be powered with Intel chips and Google software. Intel is contributing a customized version of its Atom processor that will be running a customized version of Android Operating System known as “Dragonpoint”. The three companies involved in it have also picked in Logitech to design the remote control for the set-top box and a tiny keyboard for navigation.

Panasonic has announced the official release of its two new plasma TV TH-P65VT2 and TH-P58VT2 with 3D support. The first model is equipped with 65-inch panels, while the second – 58-inch panel. The both the items can play 3D video content with full HD resolution.

In addition, they are equipped with a set of additional functions, such as, to connect to the Internet and able to play content from some of the most popular online resources, including YouTube. Also worth noting support Skype DLNA and Vieralink.

Currently, the cost of new products is still unknown, but industrial experts highlight that such multi-functional TV now becoming a major trend for the TV market – a few years later, apparently most of the models in the middle and top-end price points will have similar opportunities.
