The Casio XJ-A245 is a projector with a new hybrid Laser & LED light source with a lifetime of 8 times higher than other similar projectors on the market. The most important is the total absence of mercury in it, so as to be an environment friendly product that can dramatically reduce the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) which contributes to the welfare of society.

Besides having a lifespan significantly higher (the lamp is guaranteed 20,000 hours) among its features are a maximum resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 1800:1 contrast, a light output of 2,500 ANSI lumens, HDMI connections and USB

Nikon Coolpix S1100pj Updated Model

Last year Nikon Coolpix S1000pj surprised everyone with the first compact camera with built-in projector, this year the Japanese house is repeated with the Coolpix S1100pj, which brings some improvements to the previous model.

The pico projector reaches a brightness of 14 lumens, 40% more than the S1000pj, with a maximum of 47 inches diagonal at a distance of two meters and can be used not only to see the images taken and stored in the camera, but through a simple USB connection, can project whatever appears on a computer screen.

Another new feature is the 3-inch touchscreen LCD with 460,000 pixels that enables you to activate advanced features like the ability to write or draw on real-time images projected. With regard to the optical part S1100pj adopting a 14.1-megapixel sensor with a 5x zoom Nikkor lens (28 – 140 mm), VR 5-way sensitivity up to ISO 6400.

BenQ SP890 Full HD DLP Projector

BenQ announced the its first full HD projector, BenQ SP890 projector offers 4000 ANSI brightness and 50000:1 contrast. BenQ promises an image size from 28″ ‘to 500″ ‘WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200). The projector also features input HDMI1.3/Component Video / S-video/composite / RJ45 LAN, in addition to D-Sub output and Mini Jack.

Also included are two speakers from 5Watts an HQV ™ Image Processor, the feature BrilliantColor TMNoise Reduction, all of size 428 x 156 x 345 mm and a weight of 7.2 kg. Use an object dedicated business / professional rather interesting, especially as Full HD.

Samsung has introduced it’s first pico-projector named SP-H03. The projector weighs just 170g and has dimensions 63.5 mm x 38.1mm x 63.5 mm. Small but powerful, capable of displaying video WVGA (854 × 480) to 30 lumens, it also shows images of size from 9 to 80 inches (ie from 0228 meters to 2032 meters) and 1GB internal memory expandable up to 16GB memory with microSD.

The little giant device play the following video formats: AVI, MP4, ASF, MOV, RM, FLV, WMV, as well as MP3, MP2, WAV, WMA, FLAC, APE and AR. As for images, reproduces the following formats: JPEG, PNG, BMP and GIF. There’s more features 1W speaker and the battery provides two hours of operation. The Samsung SP-H03 is an internationally available next month and starting price is around $ 300, not much for professional use that it can do.

Acer K11 Pico-Projector with Card Reader

Acer K11 pico-projector can provide a monitor for video presentations and your netbooks and notebooks. Acer K11 is able to function without being connected to a laptop or media player: thanks to the USB port and SD card reader reads presentations, photos and video.

The projector works by exploiting the DLP and LED lamps in order to provide a duration of 20,000 hours and provide a good contrast of images. Acer K11 weighs 0.55 Kg and measuring 122 × 116 mm, integrating the control pad on the chassis. The contrast is 2000:1 and brightness is 200 ANSI lumens. Sanyo Short Throw 3D Ready Projectors

Sanyo has introduced two new short-throw, 3D-ready projectors, the PDG-DWL2500 and PDG-DXL2000. The newly designed mirror projection optical unit allow the device to throw up large images in about half the space of a traditional projector. The DWL2500 is the shortest-throw projector with the ability to create an 80-inch image when just 12.6 inches away from the screen.

The DWL2500 has a native 1280×800 resolution for a 16:10 aspect ratio and a brightness of 2,500 lumens. The DXL2000 has slightly lower respective specs, at 1024×768, 4:3 and 2,000. Both share the ability to display 3D material using the Frame Sequential Display Format that requires active shutter 3D glasses. A contrast ratio of 2,000:1 is common as well.

Other common features include a 10W amp and speaker, HDMI 1.3a input, two VGA inputs, an S-Video input and a composite RCA input. The DWL2500 will cost $1,995 and the DXL2000 $1,795 when they will released in July.
