BenQ announced the its first full HD projector, BenQ SP890 projector offers 4000 ANSI brightness and 50000:1 contrast. BenQ promises an image size from 28″ ‘to 500″ ‘WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200).

Samsung has introduced it’s first pico-projector named SP-H03. The projector weighs just 170g and has dimensions 63.5 mm x 38.1mm x 63.5 mm. Small but powerful, capable of displaying video WVGA (854 × 480) to 30 lumens, it also shows images of size from 9 to 80 inches.

Sanyo has introduced two new short-throw, 3D-ready projectors, the PDG-DWL2500 and PDG-DXL2000. The newly designed mirror projection optical unit allow the device to throw up large images in about half the space of a traditional projector.
