The hardware company Xtreamer shows it’s latest creation the Xtreamer Ultra compact desktop PC in small form factor at CeBIT 2011. Xtreamer Ultra Nettop uses hardware platform nVidia Ion second generation: a PC combined dual-core processor Atom D525 clocked at 1.8 GHz and GeForce GT218 graphics accelerator with 512 MB memory and support for software interface DirectX 10.1. RAM is 4 GB, there is room for one 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD.

According to the developer, Xtreamer Ultra cope with decoding high-definition video in Full HD and can play the role of home media center. In the arsenal of the computer – Network controller Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), six ports USB 2.0, interfaces, DVI, HDMI and eSATA. Dimensions nettop is 212 × 142 × 54 mm, the stated noise level – 24 dBA.Pricing was not announced.

Shuttle Barebone X50 All-In-One PC has has a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 16:9 resistive touchscreen and Intel’s Atom 330 dual-core processor; it can be outfitted with between 512MB and 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and various types of 2.5-inch drive. That could be anything from a budget 80GB hard-drive to a high-capacity SSD, though that would arguably be overkill given the 1.6GHz processor and GMA 950 graphics.

Other specs include a 4-in-1 memory card reader, gigabit ethernet, WiFi b/g/n, VGA output, five USB 2.0 ports, audio in/out and a VESA mount on the back. It comes with no OS, but instructions for loading software from a network connection or USB drive are included. The Shuttle Barebone X50 will go on sale at the end of June, with an MRSP of €361 ($499).

Lenovo IdeaCentre C300 Laptop features a 20-inch LCD panel with a native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels, a 1.6 GHz Atom 230 CPU, 1 or 2GB of RAM, a 160/250/320/500/640GB hard drive, most likely GMA integrated graphics and a DVD drive.

The All in One desktop PC also packs Ethernet and can be equipped with WiFi, comes with a 6-in-1 card rader, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and Windows XP Home, Vista Home Basic, or Vista Home Premium. The C300 is set to ship in July with prices starting at $449.

CompuLab Fit-PC2 – World’s Smallest PC

CompuLab introduces the fit-PC2 that gets Intel’s Atom processor. The fit-PC2 is still tiny. It is boosted by either Atom Z530 1.6GHz or Z510 1.1GHz processor with Intel’s US15W SCH chipset and GMA500 integrated graphics. The fit-PC2 has 1GB RAM, a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive bay and a miniSD card slot. It offers a HDMI HD output port.

Fit-PC2 comes with Ethernet LAN port and built-in WiFi 802.11g connectivity. It has six USB ports. CompuLab will accpet orders in May 2009. Like the Fit-PC, the fit-PC2 will be available in several versions:

A company called NFS-HLJ has come up with the a device called LonMID M100, which represents a very interesting cross between an Atom-powered MID and a mobile phone. The LonMID M100 features no less than two displays. First of all, there’s a swiveling one – 4.8-inch touchscreen, 800×480 pixel resolution, employed for the MID functionality, and then a smaller, 2.4-inch QVGA display used for the smartphone functions.

The device’s hardware configuration is consistent with the standard MID design, featuring an 800MHz Intel Atom Z500 processor, 512MB DDR2 RAM, up to 1GB supported, 4GB SSD and Midinux operating system, as well as Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g support. Nevertheless, the device also packs a couple of features typically found in the case of smartphones, such as a SIM card slot, hardware keypad, camera shutter button, USB port, two miniUSB ports, call buttons, power button, etc.
