The IdeaPad K1 looks like nothing you’ve ever seen. Unless, of course, you’ve ever seen any other tablet on the market, in which case it looks a lot like all of those. The K1 is a glossy rectangle with rounded corners, measuring 7.4 by 10.4 by 0.5 inches (HWD) and weighing 1.61 pounds. It’s relatively thick as tablets go, but not quite at the level of the Toshiba Thrive , and it’s heavier than most tablets but not problematically so.

Lenovo added some new models to it’s ThinkPad series notebooks. with slim and sleek design. The new Lenovo ThinkPad notebook promise in fact a battery life of up to 30 hours in the configuration of the T420 with an additional 9-cell battery, which was once much higher than that to which we have been used so far.

The remaining features of these notebooks, however, show excellent potential uses, both professional and entertainment: the display configurations start at 14 inches or 15.6 inches, respectively, with resolutions of 1366 x 768 or 1600 x 900p in the first case, and 1366 x 768 or 1600 x 900 or 1920 x 1080p in the second case, the choice of processors can be made between Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 as well as the NVS NVIDIA 4200M graphics card, laptops are equipped with the option Optimus.

Lenovo today announced the fourth member of the Edge series Thinkpad laptops: the new Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 11 is the middle ground between a notebook and a netbook, thanks to its compact dimensions, just 11.6-inches, and its advanced features rather than a ultraportable, at least as stated by Lenovo.

The processor can be selected from an Intel Pentium / Core or AMD Athlon, connectivity is provided by wi-fi, 3G and 4G/WiMAx3 and optional card reader 4-in-1, while the battery promises to last for seven hours, not indifferent. All this adds HDMI output, but in the official press release makes no reference either to RAM nor the hard drive.

The design is fresh and easy, with 2.7 cm thick and three fashion colors available, Midnight Black Glossy, Midnight Black and Smooth Heatwave Red Glossy. Equipped with Windows 7, the new Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 11 starts at a price of 450 dollars (about 333 euro exchange rate) for the version with AMD, and 550 dollars (about 408 euro exchange rate) for the model with an Intel processor.

Lenovo plans to launch its new device LePad Tablet PC in the Asian market in December in time for the Christmas trade. This tablet PC is quite versatile and can be a conventional tablet and install movable components, especially in the chip (processor).
