HTC has introduced a fairly controversial Tablet PC, the HTC Flyer that allows the use of pressure-sensitive stylus and the 7-inch tablet equipped with single-core processor running Android 2.4 Gingerbread, has a 7-inch (1024 x 600).
HTC Flyer Android table features an aluminum unibody (measuring 195.4 x 122 x 13.2mm), is loaded up with the Sense UI, and packs a 1.5 GHz single-core Qualcomm processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera.
The HTC Flyer also boasts HSPA+/WCDMA support, GPS, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a digital compass, a G-sensor, a micro USB port and a 4000 mAh battery allowing for up to 4 hours of continuous video playback.
HTC Flyer will be pre-loaded with an OnLive app which enables cloud gaming and is set to be updated over-the-air (OTA) to Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) soon after launch. Pricing info hasn’t been provided. Yet.
