The Chairman Hand-Made Luxury Mobile Phone: Handset featuring a fingerprint sensor for security, a 2.8-inch touchscreen and a 5-megapixel camera with video recording capabilities. The phone is assembled by hand and has a winding rotor that provides auxiliary power for the device when its battery is nearly or fully depleted.
The phone will be compatible with “most” GSM networks and has a built-in Wi-Fi connection. Judging by its numbered plaque, only 1846 examples of the handset will be sold, a number that coincides with the year of the company’s founding. The Chairman, the price of which has not been announced, will be available for purchase in rose, black, steel and steel blue in the fall of 2009.
