Sony Ericsson T707 Fashion Phone. Feature-wise, the T707 occupies the company’s new mid-range and has a 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth with stereo audio, FM radio and GPS with support for both geotagging and Google Maps. The phone also has HSPA-based 3G access and will come in a North America version with support the 850MHz band needed for 3G on AT&T and Rogers.

The clamshell stands as the company’s new signature fashion phone and has a unique outer shell that both hides an OLED for call and message notifications and lights up in different patterns depending on the caller. Basic gesture input also lets users finish a call or silence an alarm by waving a hand near the phone surface. Time-sensitive themes on the inner 2.2-inch display also keep the design fresh. Sony Ericsson plans a relatively quick launch and ships the T707 sometime during the spring in black, blue and pink colors.

Great ideas.
