Wacom PL-900 19-inch LCD Pen Tablet: Wacom’s LCD tablets allow users to handwrite digital notes, work with digital documents, files and presentations using a natural interface method. Connections include a DVI-I port while the same type of output enables users to hook it up to external displays, including projectors. The tablet is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems.
The device has a 4:3 native aspect ratio that can be automatically switched to a 16:10 widescreen format via an auto-sensing video scaler. The display sports 1280×1024 resolution and has been improved compared to the company’s previous products with a wider viewing angle and an anti-glare coating. Though there is no mention of a US release, the Wacom PL-900 is currently available in the UK, priced at the equivalent of just over $1,700 after tax.
